Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Ayman Safadi, made phone calls with a number of European officials, during which he informed them of the outcomes of the Amman Consultative Meeting on the Syrian crisis.

Al-Safadi made a phone call with the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the European Union, Joseph Borrell, during which he briefed him on the outcomes of the meeting, and the Arab political track that he launched to gradually move towards a solution to the Syrian crisis that addresses all its repercussions.

Al-Safadi also briefed his Swedish counterpart, Tobias Bilstrom, whose country presides over the current session of the European Union, during a phone call, on the results of the meeting, and the importance of the Arab role that it launched through a new political path to work on resolving the Syrian crisis and addressing its consequences.

Al-Safadi called the Spanish Foreign Minister, José Manuel Albaris, and put it in the form of a meeting, which was built on the Jordanian initiative and other Arab efforts and contacts, to work towards a political solution to the Syrian crisis that addresses all its humanitarian, security and political consequences.
