The media spokesman for the Muslim Brotherhood, Muath al-Khawaldeh, expressed his condemnation of the crime of assassinating the martyr fighter Sheikh Khader Adnan, a leader in the Islamic Jihad movement.

Al-Khawaldeh said in a press statement, a copy of which was received by Al-Bawsala, that “the crime of assassinating the martyred prisoner Khader Adnan is added to a long series of occupation crimes against the Palestinian people, against the heroic Palestinian prisoners in the occupation prisons, and against the steadfast Palestinian people.”

The media spokesman for the Brotherhood stressed that the duty today is on all the free people of the nation to triumph over the blood of the martyr Khader Adnan, and to defend the lives of prisoners in the occupation prisons who are subjected to the most heinous forms of systematic assault and deliberate medical neglect, and the prevention of the most basic rights of the prisoner, which confirms that this occupier is a criminal terrorist entity It is run by an extremist fascist gang mentality.

Al-Khawaldeh also praised the steadfastness of the prisoners, their sacrifices, and their steadfastness with all will and pride despite the pain and captivity, and salutations to the Palestinian people in all its sects, who never stood by the enemy’s heinous crimes and will respond to this assassination as well.

The media spokesman for the Brotherhood said: In front of this heinous crime, we are all confident that the Palestinian resistance and the living forces within the Palestinian interior will confront the occupation’s crimes against the prisoners and prisoners.

The Khawaldeh mourned the death of Adnan, and said, “We extend our deepest condolences to the family of the heroic martyr Khader Adnan, and we pray for his wife, children, and family for patience and solace.

Khader Adnan, 44, a leader of the Islamic Jihad from the town of Arraba, west of Jenin in the West Bank, has embarked on an open-ended hunger strike since his arrest on February 5, in refusal of his arrest and the charges against him, according to the Palestinian Prisoners Club (an independent one based in Ramallah).

Adnan went through several previous hunger strikes: in 2012 for a period of 66 days, in 2015 for a period of 52 days, in 2018 for a period of 59 days, and in 2021 for a period of 25 days.
