Former Director of Public Security, Al-Ain Fadel Al-Hamoud, said that he sees the rule of law in Jordan as seasonal or partial.

Al-Hamoud considered, during his participation in the “Rule of Law” session within the Communication Forum launched by the Crown Prince Foundation today, Saturday, that Jordanians rise up to demand the rule of law only when an accident occurs, and therefore it is seasonal.

He added that more important than the citizen’s commitment to the law, is the official’s own commitment to the law, because the official, wherever he is, is a model for the citizen.

Al-Hamoud confirmed that the discussion papers of King Abdullah II did not get enough of the discussion, as these papers were not followed up for discussion by the concerned institutions and extracted from them what helps us to progress in the future.
