Today, Tuesday, the Supreme Court in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia called on all Muslims in its lands to investigate seeing the crescent of the month of Shawwal, on Thursday evening, the 29th of Ramadan for this year.

And according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), this came in an announcement by the court, in which it said, that in view of what was included in the court’s decision that Thursday 9/1/1444 AH – according to the Umm Al-Qura calendar – corresponding to 3/23/2023 AD, is the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan for the year 1444 AH. ; The Supreme Court wishes all Muslims throughout the Kingdom to investigate the sighting of the crescent of the month of Shawwal on Thursday evening.
