On Tuesday, King Abdullah II left the homeland, heading to the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, for a short visit, at the invitation of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the sisterly United Arab Emirates.

Prince Faisal bin Al-Hussein was sworn in as Deputy King, in the presence of the cabinet.
