The Minister of Public Works and the Minister of Transport, Eng. Maher Abu Al-Samen, chaired a meeting to discuss the problem of aircraft parked on the grounds of Queen Alia International Airport, and to find appropriate solutions to get rid of them as soon as possible.

Abu Al-Saman stressed, during an inspection tour, during which he was briefed on the places where the planes were parked, the need to quickly solve the problem of these planes.

During the meeting, which included the Chief Commissioner of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Authority and a representative of the International Airport Group (AIG), Abu Al-Saman stressed that all partners from government and security agencies should discuss solutions to get rid of aircraft, stressing the Ministry’s full support.

Abu Al-Saman also discussed with the concerned authorities at the airport the mechanisms of stunting the maintenance and development of Queen Alia International Airport, in order to achieve an advanced and smooth level of service.
