The American authorities arrested a 78-year-old woman in Missouri, after she was accused of carrying out a bank robbery, and Mrs. Bonnie Gooch put the money after it was stolen in her car, and the American police forces immediately chased her and found her less than 4 kilometers from the bank that she stole, according to the website. Pleasant Hill Police Chief Tommy Wright said: ‘When the officers first approached her they were kind of confused, she’s an old lady and we weren’t sure at first that she was the culprit.
He added that Ms Gooch did not have any “diagnosed” illnesses, but given her age the department was trying to determine if there were underlying health factors that could have contributed to the accident..
Bonnie Gooch was jailed on a $25,000 bond after she was charged with theft or attempted robbery from Joubert Financial Bank in Pleasant Hill on Wednesday..
Gooch, who had two previous bank robbery convictions in 1977 and 2020, allegedly walked into the bank and handed the teller a paper application for “13,000 small notes,” according to court documents seen by The Kansas City Star.
