The former preacher and deputy said that we are facing the days (the last ten days of Ramadan), which may be the opportunity of a lifetime, and they are very great days, and the greatest of them is the opportunity of the blessed Night of Decree.
And he explained in a statement to “Al-Bawsala” that there is a worship that was known to all nations before us. Just as fasting was prescribed to the nations before us, it was known to them, which is the worship of seclusion. The first, middle and last ten days of Ramadan.
He pointed out that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, automatically retires by virtue of the proximity of his house and room to the mosque, except that in the last ten days of Ramadan he commanded that a special tent be set for him inside the mosque and he retired from everything, so the issue is not only i’tikaf.
Al-Raqab added, “In that i’tikaf, the leader of the state is retiring from everything around him, because that is of great importance to him.” He turned to God, the Blessed and Exalted, during these nights, because it is the last seclusion with God in this blessed month.
And he pointed out that these ten days come as a message from God, Blessed and Exalted be He, to everyone who falls short in Ramadan, to find, strive, and knock on the doors of good deeds, such as prayer, standing, alms, and other good expenses, as this is a very great opportunity.
Al-Raqab pointed out that in the worship of i’tikaaf, “a new, higher-ranked fast, in which there is a break from the curiosity of speech, so all talk is about remembrance and praise, just as in i’tikaf there is a break from the curiosity of deeds, and leaving everything from God Almighty, even the separation of the wife and children, which is a divine model for preparing the servants.” to the world of the isthmus.
And the last ten days of the blessed month of Ramadan began, so that the mosques opened their doors to those who are standing, worshipers, and those who are in seclusion, because of the great rewards that are described as one of the treasures of the blessed month of Ramadan.
And the tolerant Islamic law urged to turn to God, the Blessed and Exalted, in the month of Ramadan in general and in the last ten days of it in particular.
