The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs welcomed the agreement to restore diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the sisterly State of Qatar, which was reached yesterday, Wednesday, during the second Bahraini-Qatari follow-up committee meeting, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf in Riyadh, the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. .

The ministry stressed the importance of this agreement in efforts to enhance cooperation between Arab countries, and activate joint Arab action, in a way that serves common Arab interests.

The official spokesman for the ministry, Ambassador Sinan Majali, said that the return of diplomatic relations between the two brotherly countries is a major achievement that enhances Gulf and Arab solidarity and the ability to face common challenges.
