The Director of the Directorate, Dr. Wael Al-Kloub, said that the supervisory teams carried out 583 field tours of the markets, including about 8,373 commercial stores in various governorates, to follow up on compliance with the legislation governing the market, pointing to the intensification of control over the prices of fresh and sold chicken through the pickles, and taking measures against those who violate the specified price ceilings. .

He pointed to the continuation of intensive monitoring of markets in the morning and evening monitoring rounds, and for late hours of the night extending until two o’clock after midnight to monitor clothing and sweets shops, and to continue monitoring at the same pace on shops and the sale of foodstuffs.
