5 deputies turned their questions directed at the government into interrogations during the council’s oversight session held on Wednesday, headed by its speaker, Ahmed Al-Safadi, and in the presence of Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh and the cabinet.

Representative Rawa Al-Gharabli decided to turn the parliamentary question that she directed to the Minister of Education into an interpellation, because the answer she received related to appointment to the additional education system and the school feeding program was not satisfied.

Representative Eng. Muhammad Al-Saudi also decided to turn his parliamentary question addressed to the Minister of Finance, related to the allocation of bonuses disbursed to workers in the ministry in violation, into an interrogation.

MP Dr. Ahmad Al-Qatawneh turned his parliamentary question addressed to the Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan into an interpellation, related to the percentage of shares owned by the Social Security Investment Fund in the Jordan Commercial Bank.

Representative Yanal Freihat also decided to turn his parliamentary question into an interpellation because he did not accept the answer he received from the Central Bank of Jordan regarding the troubled insurance companies.

Representative Muhammad Jamil Al-Dhahrawi turned his parliamentary question into an interpellation, due to the fact that the answer he received was not satisfied, and related to the losses of the Royal Jordanian Company.
