The Muslim Brotherhood called the preacher and educator Sheikh Ragheb Shamout “Abu Muhammad,” one of the men of the Islamic movement, and one of the first generation of the Muslim Brotherhood.

The following is the text of the obituary:

“Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with God. Some of them have fulfilled their vows, and some of them are waiting. And they have not altered in any way” (Al-Adhab: 2).

Wednesday prayers at noon in Al Atiyat Mosque / Al Buhaira, and burial in the family cemetery in Umm Kharouba.

We ask the Almighty God to cover him with the abundance of his mercy, and to accept him in the gardens of bliss. We also extend our sincere condolences to the family of the deceased, and we ask God to inspire his relatives patience and solace.
