The alcoholic Labrador dog “Coco” became the world’s first dog to be treated for alcohol addiction after veterinarians rushed to save him and another dog addicted to alcohol left by their deceased owner, according to the “Daily Mail” website.

The dog was rescued after the death of its owner, and was taken in by an animal care home called Woodside in the Plymouth region of England. Koko Hua, a two-year-old Labrador, has been with them for more than a month, and has required intensive care since his arrival as part of his “tragic” journey.
