The Islamic Movement organizes an Iftar for the families of the Jordanian prisoners and missing persons in the occupation prisons

Yesterday, Monday, the Prisoners Committee of the Islamic Movement organized an annual iftar for the families of the Jordanian prisoners and missing persons in the Zionist occupation prisons, under the slogan “Prisoners are the Shield of Al-Aqsa.”
The ceremony included various paragraphs and competitions, in addition to a segment of hymns and supplications presented by Muhammad Al-Sabahi. Families of prisoners and missing persons, released prisoners, party and trade union figures, as well as activists in the prisoners’ cause participated in the breakfast.
In a speech to him, Dr. Hammam Saeed, head of the Global Coalition for the Support of Al-Quds, said: “The prisoners who sacrificed themselves for the sake of God in defense of the ascension of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and who are subjected to great injustice are among the people who most enmity to God. The legal duty of the nation is to work to liberate them from this family.”
Dr. Saed Al-Damour said in a speech on behalf of the Islamic Movement: “Palestine is the jewel of the world and everything that is paid for is cheap, and the Jordanian prisoners and missing are moles on the homeland, and we are honored to honor and remember them, even if they are absent from international forums, but in our hearts they are the ones who gave the flowers of their youth for this The blessed cause.” Al-Damour added: “The Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Whoever succeeds an invader in his family has invaded.” If we replace the prisoners with their families and take care of their children, this is our role and our duty, and we demand the officials and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to work to liberate the prisoners, for this is their duty and their role.
In a recorded speech, Mr. Zaher Jabarin, “responsible for the file of the martyrs and prisoners in Hamas movement,” saluted the families of the Jordanian prisoners and missing persons, and said: “The presence of Jordanians in the occupation prisons is not just numbers, but an embodiment of the meaning of the issue and one concern in the march of jihad to liberate Palestine.”
At the end of the ceremony, the families of the released prisoners, Raafat Al-Asous and Manaf Jabara, who were previously released, were honored.
It is worth noting that there are 19 Jordanian prisoners in the occupation prisons, 9 of whom are serving life sentences, in addition to 34 missing persons, most of whom are members of the Jordanian Arab Army.
