The Finance Committee called on the administration of the Hashemite University to work to correct all violations contained in the University’s report in the Audit Bureau’s report for the year 2021, and to recover the unlawfully spent amounts as quickly as possible.

The committee affirmed that it would follow up on the observations contained in the report related to the university until they are corrected, and to reinforce those positive aspects for the advancement of the university, which will reflect positively on higher education.

This came after a lengthy discussion she held during a meeting I held, today, Sunday, chaired by Representative Dr. Nimr Al-Sulaihat, in which clarifications and irregularities related to the Hashemite University were discussed, within the framework of discussing the report of the Audit Bureau for the year 2021, in the presence of the Vice President of the Hashemite University, Awni Tradat, and the Acting President of the Audit Bureau. Ibrahim Majali, and a number of stakeholders.

Al-Suleihat stressed the importance of preserving public money and not tolerating the aggressors, stressing that all pending clarifications should be closed and not repeated.

For his part, Etradat said that all violations and clarifications contained in the Audit Bureau report will be corrected.
