An official Jordanian source said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs refused to receive messages that “Israel” tried to send through intermediary parties about what is happening in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The source added to the Jordanian “Al-Mamlaka” channel at dawn on Sunday that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed these parties that “it rejects Israel’s claims and attempts to falsify the facts by accusing the Endowment Department of being responsible for the tension in the Temple Mount.”

And he indicated that Jordan “confronted an Israeli diplomatic campaign that tried to falsify the facts about what is happening in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and hold the Endowment Administration responsible for the dangerous escalation resulting from the Israeli attacks on the holy sites.”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed the mediating parties that Jordan is ready to receive a direct message from “Israel” in the event that this message indicates that it has stopped its violations of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the existing historical and legal situation and its attacks on worshipers, and lifted the restrictions imposed on freedom of worship.

The source said, “The ministry informed the mediating parties that the Endowment Department, which has the exclusive authority to manage all affairs of the Haram, which is a pure place of worship for Muslims, is able to play its full role if the Israeli aggressions and violations that fuel violence and push for escalation stop.”

The source added that the ministry affirmed that “Israel bears full responsibility for the escalation and its consequences, and that its futile attempt to hold the endowments responsible for what is happening will not succeed in covering up its violations that push towards an explosion of conditions.”

The source pointed out that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has intensified its regional and international contacts aimed at mobilizing an international position to stop the Israeli measures, and that Jordan continues to work to calm the situation by working to stop the Israeli measures that prevent this.
