A missile exploded in the air and its shrapnel fell near the Syrian border

On Saturday evening, a missile exploded in the air in the Wadi Aqraba area in the Irbid governorate adjacent to the Syrian border, which led to its fragments falling in the same area, according to an official military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army.

The source said that the missile explosion occurred at 22:25, and that the shrapnel did not cause any damage to lives or property, indicating that the specialized teams from the Royal Engineering Corps will deal with the site of the accident to reveal any other details.

And the source indicated that the armed forces are continuing to monitor any developments in the situation in the region.

The armed forces call on citizens not to circulate rumors that may cause anxiety among the members of society, without referring to the correct source of information.
