On Thursday, Prime Minister Bishr Al-Khasawneh issued a communiqué defining the Eid Al-Fitr holiday from Friday, April 21, until Monday evening, the 24th.

The communiqué stipulated that all ministries and official departments, public institutions and bodies, official universities, municipalities, joint services councils, the Greater Amman Municipality, and companies wholly owned by the government should suspend their work, from Friday until Monday evening.

The communication excluded ministries and official departments whose nature of work requires otherwise.
