The Parliamentary Finance Committee discussed clarifications and violations related to Yarmouk University, within the framework of discussing the reports of the Audit Bureau for the years: 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.
This came during a meeting held by the committee, today, Tuesday, headed by Deputy Dr. Nimr Al-Sulaihat, and in the presence of the Vice President of Yarmouk University for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Riyad Al-Momani, the acting head of the Audit Bureau, Ibrahim Al-Majali, and a number of stakeholders.
Al-Sulaihat stressed the importance of preserving public money and not tolerating the aggressors, stressing that all pending clarifications should be closed and not repeated.
In addition, the committee decided to transfer the account of the trusts disbursed in excess of the amounts received, in addition to the expenses of the secretariat headquarters of the Association of Arab Universities at the university between 2016 and 2018 to the Public Prosecutor.
For his part, Al-Momani said that all violations and clarifications contained in the Audit Bureau reports will be corrected.
