262 divorce fatwas during the first week of Ramadan

The media spokesman for the Fatwa Department, Hassan Abu Arqoub, said that the number of cases that the department reviewed in the center and the governorates in order to obtain a fatwa in the case of divorce during the first week of Ramadan amounted to 262 cases.

Abu Arqoub added,The kingdom“The majority of divorce cases take place between the spouses, calling on citizens to wait and resolve marital and family differences away from divorce, which destroys the family.

Abu Arqoub indicated that the department answered 11,273 questions during the first week of Ramadan, which were received through phone calls, personal interviews, short messages, and the website. Most of these questions were about the provisions of fasting, zakat, prayer, personal status, and commercial transactions.

And the department announced earlier that it opens its doors from nine in the morning, one hour before the official working hours, in order to facilitate the citizens in this holy month.
