The Jordanian ambassador to Romania, Sufian Al-Qudah, announced on Friday evening that Jordanian exports of vegetables and fruits will return to the Romanian market, after a 10-year interruption.

Qudah said in a tweet on Twitter that this is one of the most important outputs of the visit of Minister of Agriculture Khaled Hanafiyat to Romania, stressing that this was achieved through the efforts of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Jordanian-Palestinian Company for Marketing Agricultural Products “JBACO”, which is based in Jordan.

The Minister of Agriculture, Khaled Al-Hunaifat, discussed during his visit to Romania last week ways to enhance and develop trade exchange of agricultural products between Romania and Jordan, and prospects for expanding cooperation between the two countries.

The visit concluded with the second meeting of the Agricultural Technical Committee, where the two parties signed a protocol to expand cooperation and identify new cooperation opportunities in the fields of: animal husbandry, agricultural marketing, food product quality and safety, plant and animal health, agricultural extension, in addition to organizing training courses in the field of veterinary health for experts.
