Friday preachers urged worshipers who went to the Kingdom’s mosques on the first Friday of the blessed month of Ramadan to race for good deeds and leave sins and misdeeds as a way to please God Almighty, stressing that the month is a “great opportunity” for all Muslims to seize.
And they said that Ramadan is the month of guidance and gratitude for the great rulings in fasting, some of which we know and most of which we do not know.
They pointed out that fasting is distinguished from the rest of the rituals, “because it is self-elevating to the degree of the hidden relationship between man and his Lord. Most of the acts of worship are visible and visible. As for fasting, it is a secret between the servant and his Lord that only God alone knows, without a partner. This is because fasting does not involve hypocrisy, and it is One of the greatest acts of obedience with which one draws closer to God, Glory be to Him.
And they emphasized the necessity of “upholding the ties of kinship in Ramadan, which is the fruit of benevolence to the closest, delivering as much good and kindness as possible to them, repelling as much evil as possible from them, and beingware of severing ties of kinship and offending them in Ramadan and beyond until we meet God Almighty.”
And they said, “This connection is required, even if the distances and barriers are far away, because social media has made the world like a small village, so the Muslim should not be stingy with a message or a call to his relatives, relatives, and household, as this is what brings happiness to their hearts.”
Friday sermons urged worshipers to race to do good deeds, as “there is no doubt that fasting is a moral and educational school of faith, in which the fasting person is trained to control himself and restrain it, and to turn to good deeds and obedience, so the Muslim graduates in it, having purified himself, renewed his faith, and walked the straight path.” And the correct approach seeks reward and reward from God Almighty, and is very keen on worshiping Him, just as this worship due to its greatness doubles the wages.
Friday preachers pointed out that “the fasting person who abstains from his food, drink, and permissible desires is able to prevent himself from sins, taboos, and bad morals, in order to achieve the fruit of fasting, which is the fruit of piety.”
And they affirmed that the opportunity to change behavior is easy for the fasting person standing in the month of Ramadan, the month of the Qur’an, so that we become living Qur’ans that walk on the earth like the companions, may God be pleased with them. Hatred, no envy, no malice, no malice, so that our hearts may be reassured by the remembrance of God Almighty.
