About two thousand Jordanian pilgrims set out to perform Umrah in the blessed month of Ramadan, according to Bilal Rubin, head of the tourism committee at the Association of Travel and Tourism Agents.

Rubin said in press statements that the number of pilgrims is usually very limited during the first days of the holy month.

He pointed out that about 50 VIP buses transport Jordanian pilgrims to the Holy Land.

Robin added that there are no significant problems with Umrah reservations until today.

Regarding the price levels during the Umrah season in the blessed Ramadan, Rubin affirmed that it is reasonable and acceptable, as the cost of the Umrah is approximately 300 dinars per person by land in the quadruple room, and about 500 dinars for those performing Umrah by air in the quadruple room. It is likely that Rubin will increase the number of Jordanian pilgrims during the last ten days of the holy month.

It is noteworthy that the number of pilgrims reaches 6 thousand during the first ten days of Ramadan to perform the rituals of the holy month by land and air.

It is noteworthy that the number of travel and tourism companies specialized in Hajj and Umrah trips reaches 208 companies and 100 branches spread across the various governorates of the Kingdom, with approximately 3,000 employees.
