Former MP Ibrahim Abu Al-Sayed called on the government to take a practical, real and quick stance regarding the repeated violations committed by the occupation towards Palestine and Jordan alike.

In a statement to Al-Bawsala, Abu al-Sid confirmed that the government’s survival in the circle of condemnation and denunciation is unacceptable, in light of the assault on Jordanian sovereignty, which requires practical, serious and quick steps.

The former deputy stressed the necessity of responding to the Parliament’s recommendation to expel the occupation ambassador from Amman, in response to the statements of the extremist Finance Minister, Bez’el Smotrich.

He also demanded the necessity of stopping immediate cooperation with the occupation and severing all forms of relations with it, on top of that being the Wadi Araba agreement and the gas and water agreements.

He described what the occupation minister did as “very dangerous.” While we sing about the battle of pride and dignity, the occupying state is challenging the annexation of Jordan to the map of the occupying state.

He was surprised that the government went ahead and insisted on the gas, water and Wadi Araba agreement, and to keep the ambassador in Amman,” expressing his regret and disappointment about this position.

It is noteworthy that the Israeli Minister of Finance, Bez’el Smotrich, had provoked widespread Jordanian anger, by using a map of “Israel” that includes Jordan, in reference to “Greater Israel.”

On Wednesday, the House of Representatives voted by majority on a proposal to expel the occupation ambassador from Amman, but this proposal is not binding on the government, amid calls for it to respond to the parliamentary demand.
