Representative Yanal Freihat directed a question to the government, through which he clarified the reason why the Ministry of Awqaf did not open the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque for seclusion throughout the year, which is the brother of the Sacred Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, which are opened throughout the year for worshipers and kneeling prostrators.

In his question, Freihat said, “The Ministry of Awqaf continues, for decades, to close the Al-Aqsa Mosque in front of the seclusion in the blessed month of Ramadan throughout the first twenty days of the month of Ramadan and to prevent seclusion in it, although opening it for seclusion will make it full of worshipers and seclusion coming from all parts of Palestine and facilitate the stationers who travel long distances.” And many barriers and many walls to stay in it and its building throughout the days of the holy month.

He asked about the opening of the door of retreat since the beginning of the month of Ramadan in the Al-Aqsa Mosque to enable the stationed and the believers to be present in it and miss the opportunity for the extremist Temple groups that announce their intention to storm it, in light of the Zionist threats and the attacks that the Zionist enemy announced its intention to carry out towards the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque during the month of Ramadan.

Representative Freihat added in his question, “If the Ministry of Religious Endowments decided to close the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the face of the seclusions during the first twenty days of the month of Ramadan, what is the justification for that despite the danger to Al-Aqsa Mosque, and what are the alternatives that it will take in order to prevent the Zionist extremists from attacking the mosque?” Al-Aqsa Mosque and providing protection for it?
