The Amman Magistrate Court issued a ruling against the sister of the current water minister, to 3 months in prison, on charges of defamation and slander, and that she was not responsible for the charge of sedition.

Twenty-one complainants filed cases with the Amman Magistrate Court, whose panel was chaired by Judge Sharaf Abu Latifa.

It is noteworthy that the decision is subject to appeal before the Court of Appeal, and can be replaced by a financial fine in the event of the approval of the court.
