Today, Saturday, the Ministry of Public Works and Housing announced the start of activating its emergency rooms, starting tomorrow morning, Sunday, coinciding with the expected weather conditions affecting the Kingdom, according to information received from the Meteorological Department.

The ministry confirmed, in a press statement, its readiness to deal with the expected weather conditions and to address the observations received 24 hours a day through its 106 teams distributed in the various governorates of the Kingdom.

She added that a circular was circulated to its directorates and offices in various parts of the Kingdom to be fully prepared to face the expected weather conditions, conduct periodic inspection tours to all regions, and provide the central emergency unit with periodic reports according to the rules, indicating that the directors of the directorates and offices working in the field were authorized to raise the emergency plan according to the need and developments in the weather situation. .

By circulating it, the Ministry stressed the need for permanent and continuous coordination with the Ministry’s partners, to work on resolving and addressing all observations immediately to maintain the continuity of services provided to citizens, according to the followed government approach.

And she called on citizens to take caution and beware of the danger of low horizontal visibility in the desert areas due to dust and the possibility of torrential rains forming in valleys and low areas.
