Former MP Musa Al-Wahsh affirmed that the meeting, which takes place with the participation of the occupation anywhere, will increase the Palestinian people’s strength, determination and will to resist the occupier, pointing out that the Palestinian people, along with the Arab peoples, are now feeling the futility of this meeting in curbing the occupation.
Al-Wahsh said in a statement to Al-Bawsala that “the Palestinian people as a whole refuse to meet the negotiation that took place in Aqaba with Israeli officials, and if those who negotiate claiming the interest of the Palestinian people, then the people refuse to negotiate with the enemy.”
He added, “The meeting that was held in Aqaba did not come to save the Palestinian people, but rather came to save the Zionist enemy from the escalation of resistance and to transform the issue from a political issue to a security issue, unfortunately.”
He pointed out that “this meeting will not be beneficial and will not achieve the goals for which it was held, which came under the pretext of preventing the Palestinian people from defending themselves.”
And he indicated that the summit that took place in Aqaba will increase the escalation in the West Bank during the month of Ramadan and the resistance, as the resistance has become convinced and the Arab peoples have begun to feel that these meetings come only to save the enemy.
Al-Wahshan explained that “there is unity and cohesion among the components of the Palestinian people, which confirms that the only solution to this occupation is resistance.”
The summit, which was held in the city of Aqaba at the beginning of the week, sparked widespread controversy, both in Jordan and Palestine, and even in the occupation, as observers saw that it comes to calm the situation in the West Bank, especially in the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.
