Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al-Safadi said that the parliament will provide the government with exemptions related to cancer patients received at the time, and will not accept a delay in approval, and they are open to citizens at all times.
During a meeting held by the Permanent Office of the House of Representatives today, Wednesday, with the Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs, Wajih Azayza, and the Minister of Health, Dr. Firas Al-Hawari, he stressed that the provision of health care and attention to it has always been the focus of attention and direction of King Abdullah II.
Al-Safadi praised the great role played by the King Hussein Cancer Center, and all the medical, nursing and administrative cadres in this distinguished national medical edifice.
It was agreed during the meeting to organize the process of issuing medical exemptions and their application starting today, so that medical exemptions are divided through the concerned directorate in this regard in the House of Representatives, and are accompanied by cover books signed by the representative, copies of the medical report on the patient’s condition and his personal identity, and the family book for patients. Children, provided that each deputy has 10 medical exemptions per month, with the exception of exemptions related to cancer patients, and medical exemptions are issued within a maximum period of 48 hours from the submission of the transaction.
