The center added that the weather maps indicate that a five-point depression is gradually approaching Jordan on Thursday, centered over the northern coast of Egypt, and pushing air currents that are much warmer than usual.

He explained that Thursday temperatures are higher than their rates for this time of year by about 9-11 degrees Celsius.

The weather will be sunny, warm and dry in most regions, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the city of Aqaba.

The maximum temperatures recorded at three o’clock in the afternoon are in the mid-twenties in most major cities, including neighborhoods of the capital, Amman, while they are in the early thirties in the Jordan Valley, Aqaba, and the Shafa-Ghoriyeh regions.

Jordan is increasingly affected during the night hours of Thursday / Friday by the five-year depression, and night temperatures tend to rise, and thus are higher than usual, and the weather is pleasant in most regions and tends to be slightly cold in the late night hours and dawn, especially over the mountain heights.

The winds will be southeasterly to southeasterly, light to moderate in speed, and may be carrying dust to some areas.

It is expected that the Khamasini depression will move gradually on Friday, to be concentrated during the day in the north of the Syrian territories, and a decrease in temperatures will occur, while it will continue to be 6-8 degrees Celsius higher than its rates for this time of the year.

The maximum temperatures will be in the early twenties, and thus the weather will be mild in most regions of Jordan, and warm in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba.

The winds are southwesterly, moderate in speed, gradually activating, especially with the afternoon hours, and are accompanied by strong gusts in the mountainous heights and the eastern Badia regions, and the proportions of transmitted dust gradually increase in the atmosphere, and the weather is dusty in varying proportions, especially in the eastern Badia regions, including parts of the desert roads. .

With Friday/Saturday night hours, night temperatures tend to drop significantly compared to previous nights, and the weather is relatively cold in many areas.

And the lowest temperatures reach 10 degrees Celsius in the mountainous highlands and the eastern plains, which necessitates wearing a coat.
