The Permanent Bureau of the House of Representatives agreed, during a meeting held yesterday, Tuesday, in the presence of the Ministers of Political and Parliamentary Affairs and Health, to organize the process of issuing and applying medical exemptions, starting today, Wednesday, according to an agreed upon mechanism.

The mechanism includes; Medical exemptions are submitted through the concerned directorate in the House of Representatives, with the following attached: a cover letter signed by the representative, a copy of the medical report on the patient’s condition, a copy of the patient’s personal ID, and a copy of the family book for pediatric patients.

Each deputy has 10 medical exemptions per month, with the exception of exemptions related to cancer patients, and medical exemptions are issued within a maximum of 48 hours of submitting the transaction.
