The Cybercrime Unit of the Public Security Directorate has renewed its warning against falling victim to electronic fraud.

The unit stated in a post on Facebook: “Your digital life needs protection as much as your property needs!!”

“Beware of falling victim to electronic fraud, and do not hesitate to contact the Cybercrime Unit to request assistance,” she added.

The Anti-Cyber ​​Crime Unit confirms that it will not hesitate to deal optimally and required with all electronic crime cases that come to it through technical tracking, including cross-border cases such as electronic fraud or account theft, within the umbrella of Interpol and through the Arab and International Police Department, to determine Identity of criminals and addressing different countries to take legal action against them.

And she called on citizens who use social networking sites to deal with caution with these sites and not abuse during use, and not to fill in or send any personal information to unreliable pages, and not to deal with fake links that are sent to them for the purposes of hacking and stealing their personal accounts.
