The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs condemned the continued Israeli incursions into the occupied Palestinian cities and the repeated attacks on them, the latest of which was the attack on the city of Nablus today.

The official spokesman for the ministry, Ambassador Sinan Majali, denounced Israel’s continuation of its military campaigns, and reaffirmed the Jordanian position on the need to stop these campaigns, and to work immediately to stop the escalation in order to avoid further deterioration, stop its causes and achieve calm, warning of the repercussions of this deterioration on everyone.

He said that Jordan is working intensively with all parties to achieve this.

He stressed the need to find a real political horizon that would prevent the continuation of the spiral of violence, stop the deterioration, and lead to the resumption of negotiations to reach a solution to the conflict on the basis of the two-state solution, which embodies the independent Palestinian state with occupied East Jerusalem as its capital on the lines of June 4, 1967.
