Today, Tuesday, the Constitutional Court rejected the appeal of the unconstitutionality of Paragraphs 1 and 2 of Article 191 of the Civil Procedure Code No. 24 of 1988.

The two paragraphs relate to the impermissibility of appealing before the Court of Cassation the rulings issued by the Courts of Appeal in cases whose value is less than ten thousand dinars, except with the permission of the President of the Court of Cassation or his authorized representative.

The decision of the Constitutional Court, headed by Acting President of the Court Judge Muhammad al-Mahadin, stated that the two contested paragraphs do not violate the constitutional purposes and did not cross their limits, which necessitates rejecting the appeal of their unconstitutionality.
