Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Investment launched the first package of comprehensive electronic investment services related to licensing economic activities, as stipulated in the Investment Environment Law for the year 2022 and the system issued according to it for the year 2023, in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.

According to the ministry’s statement, the launch of the service comes as part of a project that was automated by the ministry’s services, with the aim of facilitating investors, simplifying procedures, and mechanizing services to ensure speedy delivery, which is reflected in the level of services provided to them.

The services that were launched included registration and licensing, the investor card, incentives and exemptions, development and free zones, residency services, visas and granting citizenship, in addition to a grievance request service for the grievance committee formed in the Ministry of Investment.

The statement stressed that the launch of the services comes as a first step for a project that has been automated by the various services of the Ministry, which is carried out through an electronic platform, which enables the investor, once he enters the platform, to choose the service he wants to apply for, as the official authorities are obligated to respond to the request within 15 working days from the date of submitting the completed application. Conditions, and in the event that the official authority is late in responding before the end of this period, this is considered an automatic approval to complete the transaction.

The ministry added that the investor can apply for the services needed by his investment project electronically by entering the Ministry of Investment website (www.moin.gov.jo) and from his location without the need to review the ministry.

She indicated that the second phase of the automation project will include linking various investment services with the official partner authorities concerned with the investment project, in addition to automating all internal operations in the Ministry of Investment.
