The Executive Director of the Cash Issuance Department at the Central Bank of Jordan, Reem Al-Fayez, said that the most important feature that distinguishes the new fifty dinars denomination is the rough texture and the prominence of the word (the Central Bank of Jordan at the top of the note and the word fifty dinars in the middle of it, in addition to the texture of the number fifty in the upper right of the banknote).

Al-Fayez added, via security broadcasts, that the methods of distinguishing between fake and real currency are by shining the currency on a light source, where the image of His Majesty the King appears on the (50) denomination, which is identical to the image that adorns the paper and the watercolor writings (fifty numbers).

She pointed out that the number “fifty” appeared in addition to the image of the crown when it was shining on the light and when it was tilted, in addition to a three-dimensional seven-dimensional star.

Al-Fayez confirmed that the Central Bank does not intend to offer the 100 dinars denomination.
