Today, Sunday, the Civil Status and Passports Department announced the launch of services related to issuing permanent passports electronically for citizens residing in (Islamabad and Nicosia), in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Director General of the Civil Status and Passports Department, Fahd Al-Amoush, told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that Jordanians residing in Pakistan and Cyprus can submit requests for services related to Jordanian passports (the first time, renewal, replacement for lost, damaged replacement) electronically by entering the services link. This is done by entering the e-services portal, opening an e-account, and submitting an application for the service.
Al-Amoush indicated that these requests will be reviewed by the department, the necessary approvals will be taken for them, and the embassy will be notified electronically. To complete the passport issuance procedures.
He added that the application of this service in those two countries was a continuation of the electronic services project provided by the Department to citizens outside the Kingdom, indicating that these services will be circulated to the rest of the countries for the benefit of all Jordanian expatriates, which will speed up the procedures for issuing passports and shorten the time and effort for Jordanians residing abroad.
