Speakers at the launch ceremony of the book “Five Thousand Days in the World of Barzakh” by the prisoner Hassan Salameh, which was organized by the Palestine Committee of the Islamic Movement this evening, stressed the importance of conveying the experiences of prisoners in the occupation prisons and their steadfastness in the face of the practices of the Zionist jailer, despite the suffering they face and practices to break their will.

During the event, which was held in the Islamic Action Front party and moderated by the media, Habib Abu Mahfouz, the speakers referred to the contents of the book, which tells the story of the heroism and sacrifice that the prisoner Hassan Salameh lived during 14 years in the solitary confinement sections of the occupation prisons.

In his speech, Dr. Ahmed Nofal emphasized the role of faith in the steadfastness of the individual in the face of the difficulties he is going through and attempts to break his will. He referred to the embodiment of the reality of the prisoners in the occupation prisons, in a creative and mature style, despite the suffering that the prisoner lives in the prisons. Especially what the prisoner Hassan Salameh lived in solitary confinement, and the prisoners’ challenge to the Zionist jailer.

He stressed the need for the prisoners to spread their experiences to the nation to charge souls against the enemy and its criminal practices and to strengthen the popular psychological state that rejects any dealings with the Zionist entity and considers it a criminal entity that must be resisted, pointing to the need to support the steadfastness of the prisoners and for the prisoners to use worship in the face of the jailer, warning everyone who wants to Spreading a culture of despair.

He added, “The author of the book believed when he spoke that isolation was killed because of the harm it caused to the prisoner, and about the cowardice of the jailer in front of the prisoner. This book represents an epic that must be published for the nation to revive feelings of pride in the hearts of all.”
