The Jordanian Observatory records two earthquakes north of Nablus

The Jordan Seismological Observatory recorded two earthquakes at the Fara’a/Carmel Fault, north of Nablus in the West Bank.

The director of the Seismological Observatory, Ghassan Sweidan, told Hala News that the first earthquake was recorded at 5:48 pm Jordan time, with a magnitude of 3.4 on the Richter scale, with a depth of 1 km.

“The second is at 6:07 pm, with a magnitude of 2.6 degrees on the Richter scale,” according to Swedan.
