3 people died and 245 others were injured from the beginning of winter until last Thursday due to the misuse of heating methods, according to the Civil Defense Directorate, on Saturday.

First Lieutenant Muhammad Al-Khattbeh of the Civil Defense Directorate said that 328 accidents have occurred due to misuse of heating since Thursday.

Al-Khatahtbeh called for not leaving the heating on while sleeping, and to ventilate the room or house from time to time.

He also called for not using heaters for cooking or drying clothes, keeping them away from furniture, supervising children, not bringing coal stoves into rooms, avoiding kerosene heaters while they are burning, and making sure that the gas cylinder is well connected to the heater.
