The Parliamentary Reform Bloc expressed its anger, denunciation, and condemnation of what the government authorities in the Kingdom of Sweden did by allowing a terrorist to burn a copy of the Holy Quran.

In a statement issued by the bloc, the bloc called on the Jordanian government and the Arab and Islamic governments to expel the Swedish ambassadors there, to move politically and diplomatically, and to call on the ambassadors of foreign countries to condemn this crime and curb these terrorist acts.

A statement issued by the Parliamentary Reform Bloc on the crime of burning a copy of the Holy Quran in the Kingdom of Sweden

The Parliamentary Reform Bloc expresses its anger, denunciation, and condemnation of what the government authorities in the Kingdom of Sweden did, allowing a terrorist to burn a copy of the Holy Quran.

This act constitutes a crime against Muslims all over the world, a despicable act against the most important Islamic sanctities, and a clear targeting of the Islamic faith and divine laws. The Government of Sweden must prevent this crime, hold its perpetrators accountable, and prevent its recurrence.

Committing this heinous crime reflects an extremist, exclusionary, and terrorist mentality that does not respect the faith and ideas of those who oppose it, and does not believe in dialogue, which would threaten peace and security in the world, and constitutes a clear violation of international covenants and covenants that stipulate respect for beliefs and laws and prevent exposure to them.

The Holy Qur’an is the basis of the existence of the Islamic nation and civilization, and targeting the nation in its existence and civilization is barbaric behavior that does not respect the heavenly messages, which is something that would fuel the spirit of hostility and hatred between peoples.

We hold the Kingdom of Sweden fully responsible for facilitating this terrorist act, which cannot in any way fall under freedom of opinion and expression.

We call on the Jordanian government and the Arab and Islamic governments to expel the Swedish ambassadors there, to move politically and diplomatically, and to call on the ambassadors of foreign countries to condemn this crime and curb these terrorist acts, and to take positions that ensure the prevention of infringement of the Noble Qur’an in Sweden or in any other country, and to compel the Kingdom of Sweden to present its apology.

We also call on the Arab, regional and international parliamentary organizations to reject and denounce this crime and to address the Swedish parliament in this regard, and we call on the Arab and Islamic nation to boycott all Swedish products.
