The general observer of the Muslim Brotherhood, Eng. Abdul Hameed Al-Thunaibat, deplored the Swedish authorities’ permission to allow extremists to burn a copy of the Noble Qur’an, describing this act as a “crime” that reflects a buried hatred against Islam.

Al-Thunaibat said in a statement to him, “The Holy Qur’an is the book of God, which called us not to insult the other so that they do not insult God, and at the same time commanded us to defend our religion and our Qur’an.”

The general observer of the Brotherhood called on “every Muslim, regardless of his position, especially governments and parliaments, to express their rejection and denunciation of this heinous crime, and this is the least of the duties.”
