The Islamic Action Front party strongly condemned the Swedish government’s decision to allow the leader of the far-right Danish Hard Line Party, Rasmus Paludan, to burn a copy of the Holy Qur’an in front of the Turkish embassy building in Stockholm, and to carry out what the party described as a “heinous and despicable crime” with strict security protection.

The Secretary-General of the party, Eng. Murad Al-Adaileh, said in a memorandum addressed to the Prime Minister of Sweden through the mediation of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden in Amman, “We deplore and condemn in the strongest terms this despicable assault on our most important holy book, the Holy Qur’an, which targets Muslims in their beliefs, and insults their sacred values ​​under the cover of freedom.” Expression, this act is a crime of hate and racism.

Al-Adayleh called on the Swedish government to immediately stop these measures that encourage hatred and violence, to apologize to the Islamic world, and to take all measures to hold those responsible for this act accountable and to prevent these hateful behaviors that are condemned by all the free people of the world.
