On Friday evening, the leader of the Islamic movement, Eng. Ali Abu al-Sukkar, reviewed the requirements for the success of political action in Jordan.
Abu al-Sukkar said during a lecture organized by the Islamic Action Front Party in Aqaba, “When we talk about the success of political action, we talk about the success of the leadership of this nation and the integration of work between the leadership and the people.”
He added, “When we talk about political work in Jordan, unfortunately, we talk about a struggle led by those who take over the political work.”
The leader considered that political work is linked to the interests of society, with the aim of improving economic and political conditions.
He emphasized that effective political action has several supporters, most notably the human being, the message, the target community, and intellectual engagement for the purpose of organizing.
Abu Al-Sukar explained that the conditions for achieving political reform are the existence of a government with a socially acceptable reform approach that is far from corruption, and the existence of a parliament that represents the people through a fair election law.
