On Sunday, the Minister of Health, Firas Al-Hawari, said that there is a great renaissance from north to south at the level of hospitals in Jordan.
Al-Hawari added to the “Nabd Al-Balad” program, which is broadcast on “Roya” channel, that specialized centers have been provided in the hospitals of the Ministry of Health, such as the multiple sclerosis treatment program.
The Minister of Health stated that the Ministry of Health succeeded in extending its hand in order to cooperate with all parties to improve health services in Jordan.
Al-Hawari indicated that the Ministry of Health will put on its map the introduction of 3 new medical specialties every year.
And he added that the ministry signed 4 agreements with government universities to use the hospitals of the Ministry of Health as teaching hospitals and to provide them with doctors.
Al-Bashir hospitals were able to reduce the waiting time in order to take an x-ray or an MRI, according to the Minister of Health.
According to al-Hawari, Jordan needs more health centers, while the Ministry of Health received grants from the European Union to improve health centers in the governorates.
He explained that the Ministry of Health has rehabilitated and expanded about 185 health centers in various governorates of the Kingdom.
And he indicated that there is reluctance by citizens to request their medications electronically from hospitals and health centers affiliated with the Ministry of Health.
Al-Hawari explained that when the medicine is cut off from the source, the fault is not from Jordan, pointing out that the Ministry of Health provides suitable alternatives for the discontinued medicines.
He pointed out that the health centers are equipped with x-rays and the needed laboratories in order to serve the citizens.
Al-Hawari said that the citizen can file any complaint about the medical sector directly to his office.
