On Sunday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Ayman Al-Safadi, thanked his Kuwaiti counterpart, Salem Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah, for the care provided by the State of Kuwait to about 64,000 Jordanian citizens residing in it.

Al-Safadi and Al-Sabah affirmed the continuation of the institutional work aimed at finding broader horizons for constructive cooperation that serves the interests of the two countries.

Efforts to increase economic cooperation between Jordan and Kuwait are based on a long history of cooperation, as the volume of trade exchange between them until the end of October 2022 amounted to $244.7 million.

Kuwait represents one of the largest investors in Jordan, with an investment volume of about $15 billion concentrated in the tourism, energy, industry, communications, banking, real estate and extractive infrastructure sectors.
