Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al-Safadi stressed, on Saturday, the need to form two offices at Amman and Baghdad airports to facilitate the movement of travelers between the two countries.

Al-Safadi said, during his meeting with the Iraqi Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ahmed Al-Asadi, that “Iraq is the beating heart of the Arabs, and that strengthening relations between the two countries is a necessity and interest for both peoples.”

Al-Asadi stressed, according to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), “the importance of bilateral relations between Jordan and Iraq,” pointing out that “Iraq sees Jordan as an essential partner for building and consolidating security and stability in the region.”

He stressed “the Iraqi government’s keenness to continue and develop fruitful cooperation between the two countries.”
