On Saturday, 44,575 male and female participants from the academic and vocational branches are going to take the general secondary school certificate exam “Tawjihi” supplementary course on its third day, out of 100,000 participants who are the total registered, according to the spokesperson for the Ministry of Education, Ahmed Al-Masafah.
The assistant said that students in the various branches of academic and vocational education for regular students and students of private study will apply during the first session for the examination in the subject of mathematics, plant production, and special vocational sciences, while in the second session they will apply for the subject of mathematics “faculties.”
The assistant added that the students who will take the exam on Saturday are distributed as follows (Literary Branch: 19589, Scientific Branch, 23017, Sharia Branch 56, Industrial Branch 242, Home Economics Branch 756, Agricultural Branch 866, Hotel Branch 21, Informatics Branch 27).
On Tuesday, the exams for the supplementary course for the General Secondary School Certificate (Tawjihi) for the year 2022 began, with the participation of 100,000 male and female participants registered in the exam, as the Ministry identified 415 exam centers comprising 1,000 halls.
The ministry stated earlier that the time allotted for the examination for each subject will be sufficient, confirming that it will continue to add 10 minutes to each examination paper given to the participants instead of wasted time in distributing examination papers.
The Director of Examinations and Tests Department at the Ministry, Muhammad Kinana, said that the number of participants registered to take the exam reached 100,000 male and female participants. Of them, 14,000 are for the purposes of raising the rate, and 86,000 are for completing the requirements for success.
Kinana added that the ministry has identified 415 examination centers, including 1,000 examination halls, while 42 reserve halls have been allocated to each directorate of education for any emergency.
He stressed the ministry’s keenness to provide the appropriate examination environment for students inside the examination centers and halls, and to provide heating, comfortable seats, and the necessary stationery for students to ensure that they pass the exam with ease and ease.
The Ministry has completed all its preparations for holding the exam in full readiness, as it will provide the participants’ needs of: drinking water, appropriate heating, instructional boards, an enlarged image of the optical reader paper in each examination room, and the provision of supplies that ensure the progress of the participants in an appropriate examination environment with ease. .
The Ministry sent a number of messages and instructions to the participants in the exam, in order to ensure the safety of their exams, the most prominent of which was to come to the exam hall an hour before the start of the exam session.
The instructions included the commitment of each participant to bring the civil status card or passport for Jordanian participants and the passport for non-Jordanians, and the security card for Syrian participants who do not hold a passport, daily when submitting the exam, emphasizing that the participants do not bring any of (cell phones, electronic watches, and pens). of all kinds) to the examination hall to avoid the application of administrative procedures to participants who violate the instructions, and to ensure that everything related to the examination, such as posters, scraps of paper, etc., is left outside the examination hall, and to ensure the exam program and the prescribed investigations, and the time set for each exam, and adhere to the instructions governing it.
And she called on the parents of the participants to take into account the conditions of their children and provide them with psychological and moral support, and not to gather outside or in the vicinity of the examination centers in order to preserve the safety of the examinations of their children.
The ministry formed two operating rooms; The first room is in the Ministry’s center, for administrative procedures, and receiving questions, inquiries and observations from the people and the community, and the second room is in the exams and tests administration to follow up the course of the exam and its course, in which experts specialized in each section of the exam investigations respond to notes and technical questions from the exam halls, whose phone numbers were circulated Directors of education and directors of departments.
The Ministry holds this exam in partnership and coordination efficiently and effectively with its supporting institutions: the Ministry of Interior with its various agencies, the Ministry of Health, the Special Communications Authority / Armed Forces – Arab Army, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Leadership, and the media.
