Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein said that the electrical communication with the Jordanian side is in a very advanced stage.

During a press conference held after the issuance of the final statement of the Baghdad conference in its second session, Hussein thanked Jordan, king, government and people for hosting the conference, as well as France for its support for holding the conference.

And he continued in his speech, this conference, as it was in the first version, in order to continue supporting Iraq, as well as it is a dialogue umbrella between the Iraqi and Gulf neighbors, and the presence of a group of representatives of countries and international organizations.

He stressed that the conference is also an umbrella for cooperation and joint action, and the conference is not only to support Iraq, but also for joint action in the regional and international environment.

He added that the challenges facing the Iraqi government are mostly regional and international, noting that there are security, economic, environmental and other challenges related to energy, food security and medicine, as it needs joint action to face these challenges.
