Representative of the Parliamentary Reform Bloc, Representative Saleh Al-Armouti, directed a question to the government about some groups that are deprived of participation in the military housing fund.
Al-Armouti’s question, which arrived, stated:compassA copy of it: Despite the repeated demand, why has the disadvantaged, withdrawn, and dependents from the Military Housing Fund not yet been re-involved in the fund, who provided great services to the homeland and defended the security and safety of the homeland, noting that this loan is a refundable loan and is deducted from the pension.
Al-Armouti said: Does the government know that a committee was formed by the Chief of Staff to study this file, and so far it has not taken any decision that serves the interest of military retirees, who are going through very difficult and complex circumstances, and what are the recommendations that the committee came out with?
He wondered: Does the government have the intention to do justice to them by taking a decision to return these people to benefit from the Military Housing Fund Law, noting that the constitution stipulates that the state guarantees reassurance to citizens.
